Western Arizona Fire Marshal's Association Tours Interstate Warehouse Cold Storage Facility in Golden Valley, AZ

Western Arizona Fire Marshal's Association Tours Interstate Warehouse Cold Storage Facility in Golden Valley, AZ

Golden Valley, AZ – 9/17/24 – The Western Arizona Fire Marshal's Association (WAFMA) recently toured the Interstate Warehouse cold storage facility in Golden Valley, AZ, as part of its ongoing commitment to enhancing fire safety awareness in large industrial and commercial spaces. The visit allowed fire safety professionals to assess the facility’s fire prevention measures, review emergency preparedness plans, and strengthen partnerships with local businesses.

Cold storage facilities present unique fire safety challenges due to their size, temperature control systems, and the high-volume of stored goods. By conducting these tours, WAFMA ensures that these facilities are equipped with the latest fire safety technologies and protocols, helping to protect both employees and assets while minimizing fire risk.

“The tour was essential for understanding the specific needs of facilities like Interstate Warehouse, and it allows us to work closely with businesses to ensure fire safety standards are met,” said Fire Marshal David Martin of Golden Valley Fire Department.
